When I started at H&E Equipment Services, the corporate office in Baton Rouge was only evaluating its own credit applications. Within two months, I earned the respect of the Regional Credit Manager from Dallas and was assigned a second region. In month three, I again exceeded expectations and was assigned a 3rd region’s credit applications and in month five, I earned the 4th and final region's credit applications. Each time my dedication to accuracy and processing speed was recognized by the Regional Credit Managers. This entire process was scheduled by management to take over a year, however with determination, I helped the company reach their goal in five months. I processed approximately 65 applications per day, in addition to my other work tasks. Processing credit applications included creating checklists in excel, entering application data into SAP database, running reports on Equifax, CreditSafe & Cortera, analyzing all data and making a decision on the application.
