Laura Millar is a dedicated teacher with four years of experience in the classroom, currently teaching for the Department of Education and Training in Victoria. Laura has most recently worked in partnership with Oz Harvest and Resource Smart Schools to initiate a two-year scope and sequence for her school, with a core focus on sustainability and environmental education. With a passion for neuroaffirming teaching methods and hands-on learning experiences, Laura inspires her students to achieve their full potential every day. Laura has recently published an article with Eingana Magazine (to be released) about her experiences with winning the Aussie of the Month 'Circular Champions' competiton and her plans for continuing to innovate on sustainability education in the Government sector. Laura holds a Bachelor of Education P-12 from Victoria Univeristy. She is an alumni of the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership, Golden Key International Honours Society and recipient of the National Exceptional Teachers for Disadvantaged Schools (NETDS) award. Outside of the classroom, Laura enjoys 4WD trips, caravanning, cooking and photography.
