Richard Lewis CommunicationsDirector of Studies/Senior Trainer/Key Account Manager
Feb. 2006 - Aug. 2009Espoo, FinlandAs KAM, I arranged language and communication courses at a major public sector account (each year about 35 language groups, plus 5-10 special courses). I met all new students and formed groups based on their language levels and specific needs. I was also responsible for matching our trainers with each group as well as planning schedules for each group. I prepared the pedagogical sections of a successful tender, ensuring three more years of security for the company. As DOS, my role was more focused on developing our training staff, both by supporting our trainers and by hiring new trainers when the need arose. This role also brought me into the sales process as I worked closely with my sales colleagues in preparing offers and tenders. In both of these roles, I taught English and led courses in such business communication skills as presentations and writing in a wide range of organizations.
