Apr. 2018 - Sep. 2018Chicago, ILCoder is a decentralized venture development platform, providing a global community with the technology, solutions, and resources they need to build, grow, and scale their technology business. Project requirement deliverables and task payouts to solution providers are all secured via blockchain smart contracts utilizing the CDR token. As lead PM, I ran our first pilot project through our Coder 3.0 platform - the discovery, design, development, testing & maintenance for a 3D anatomy educational platform, as the first “CoderLead” to gather data & insights on Coder 3.0. I then led the user-mapping, architecture & schema-design, key features planning, and advised on the tokenomics for Coder 4.0 - the decentralized network. Learn more at codernetwork.io

Coder Inc.Blockchain Developer
Jun. 2017 - Mar. 2018Chicago, ILBuilt a MVP for a dApp concept of using smart contracts as a sprint-by-sprint escrow payment system on the Ethereum blockchain, leveraging the use of the Truffle framework. Designed and helped build the CDR token (or CoderCoin), an ERC20 token that would enable crypto payments on the Coder platform using the browser-based wallet Metamask. Integrated the smart contracts, built in Solidity, with the Coder 3.0 platform, built in Rails, using the Ethereum.rb and ruby-eth libraries to complete the dApp. Other technologies worked with are the Geth and Parity clients for Ethereum. I also advised on and wrote the technical details for the Coder Whitepaper. Check out a demo at demo.builtbycoder.com.

This was my first role working in multiple geos at once, up to four timezones, and owning the delivery. Clients worked with: Toms, Avnet, Sony, Hyundai, MGM Grand, The Irvine Company Key areas: - Scoping, estimation, & planning - Project management, budget forecasting, & burn tracking - Technical delivery for onshore & offshore teams - Product feature design, iterative development & testing, UAT - Agile methodologies & tools: Smartsheet, Trello, JIRA, Confluence
Process Engineer Consultant
Home Products International - North America, Inc.Process Engineer Consultant
Aug. 2013 - Dec. 2013Seymour, IN• Worked on a team of four senior industrial engineering students with the objective to optimize HPI's iron-board production processes in one of two plants located in Seymour, Indiana. Used time analysis methods to determine bottlenecks and manufacturing constraints for both high volume and low volume production lines. By brainstorming potential solutions and simulating current and "future" processes, we were able to formulate proposals for process improvements enabling $50,000/year in savings and a 1.1 year payback period.
Product Supply Engineer Intern - New Business Creation
Procter & GambleProduct Supply Engineer Intern - New Business Creation
Jun. 2013 - Aug. 2013Cincinnati, OH• Successfully designed and implemented a checkweigher process control strategy to optimize the performance of 2 high-precision checkweighers on a start-up production line for a new product launch; led the integration of the software package for appropriate data acquisition and statistical analysis capability. • Assessed the manufacturing capabilities of 3 contract manufacturing (CM) sites against P&G standards in quality, process engineering, packing technology, equipment, work process, launch, and supply chain criteria to determine fit for new product start-up. Led cost & feasibility study (Best Value Option Analysis) on CMs’ capabilities to execute and maintain the operating forecast for the projected production volume of a future high-tier product. • Led the engineering ‘concept’ phase on the design for a high-speed full production-scale process and packaging line for the projected volume of a product launch in 2018. • Worked on an intern team to analyze various failure modes, design prototypes, and assess the cost & feasibility for brand new packaging concepts for top 6 household products causing leakage and breakage within the E-Commerce supply chain; worked directly with Amazon on new packaging strategies, including Amazon’s “Frustration Free” concepts.
Product Supply Engineering Intern
Procter & GambleProduct Supply Engineering Intern
Jun. 2012 - Aug. 2012Lima, Ohio• Led $80,000 conveyor installation and palletizer retooling project including start-up planning, layout, design, modeling & construction; coordinated all maintenance tasks & inspection standards aligning all equipment & zone owners with project scope; designed optimization models for conveyor back pressure. • Designed warehouse optimization plan that increased storage availability by 221% and led to a $305,000 annual cost savings forecast by utilizing supply chain logistics and applying material flow efficiency to optimize floor and rack space for current business needs. • Spearheaded an initiative to eliminate/reduce percentage of capping rejects on a packing line, developing a troubleshooting plan using Unified Problem Solving (UPS) methodology; validated capping centerlines and matched them to reject areas to pinpoint exact variables causing capping rejects, potentially leading up to $70,000 in annual cost savings. • Developed vendor acceptance and induced failure tests for the mechanical installation of a centrifugal sorter bowl and airveyor system, completing the installation and operational qualifications for a retooling initiative.
