Responsible for the look and feel of global firm communications, delivering strategic solutions in the areas of print, web, digital and motion design in support of the firm’s Business Development, Legal Recruiting and communications objectives. • Lead creative meetings and oversee the direction of all communications initiatives of the firm. • Ensure accurate, consistent, appropriate work product, including adherence to and promotion of established identity guidelines for all media in the firms 14 offices. • Ensure that the production standards for publications and collateral materials are met in all cities. • Established and manage systems to maintain global service levels. • Analyze work flow and advise other groups on projected needs as necessary. • Responsible for department budgets in New York and London and the sound stewardship of resources for the creative team. • Recruiting and hiring of creative staff, as well as ensuring the professional development of the team • Evaluate the department’s technology needs and capabilities, developing staff capacity in new technologies, techniques and communication methods. • Advise the firm on creative best practices and negotiate prices with local and global vendors in order. to ensure efficiencies in production and equipment purchases • Direct photo shoots as necessary for publications, US Legal Recruiting and European Business Development. • Ensure adherence to professional standards including licensing and ethical considerations for the commission of photography • Source and direct creative professionals for special projects (photographers, copy editors). • Advise new offices on implementation of the firm’s style guidelines to stationery, architectural signage and other associated materials.
