’ve been a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for 15 years, working across medical, surgical, cardiothoracic, and trauma ICUs. I led the development of an ECMO unit, which became the primary ICU for COVID patients at its peak. In addition to my clinical role, I’ve mentored numerous students and new nurse practitioners and taught as an adjunct faculty member in the hospital’s nursing school.
