•Create vacancy announcements and extend tentative job offers which include drug screening appointments and background checks.
•Identify, analyze, problem-solve, and resolve issues that arise throughout the organization
•Assist and participate in HR special projects, HR cyclical activities including benefits open enrollment, employee appreciation events, job shadowing events, career fairs, and recruiting open house events
•Produce weekly recruitment reports and analyze data in support of recruitment activities •Manage and maintain new hire processes: background checks, drug screenings, I-9, W-4 & State Tax forms (VA & MD), request individual records, and other essential new hire paperwork and documents •Participate on a three-person board for the organization’s internship program
•Conduct bi-weekly new hire general orientation comprised of 40-70 attendees
•Participate in creating an internal shadowing program, as well as other Human Resources Development (HRD) projects •Create Personnel Action Forms for new hires, transfers, and promotions •Ensure timely opening and closing of job postings
•Serve as the administrator of all HR intranet pages and responsible for updates and maintenance
•Attend and participate in HR meetings with appropriate data and research
•Responsible for HR related inquires, management of corporate HR policies
•Implement and complete mandatory, annual education, and competency requirements
