The Market Sales Manager’s (MSM) goal is to drive achievement in sales, margin, and profit goals for their market area by providing direct and indirect management over a team of Project Specialists Exterior (PSE) and Project Specialists Interior (PSI) and helping them navigate the steps in the sales pipeline. MSM has the primary responsibility to ensure Best in Class customer experiences with every project associated with a PSE or PSI. As the outside sales leader and subject matter expert on the Lowes selling model and market opportunities, the MSM provides leadership to their sales team to help them maximize market share in all product categories approved for the PSE and PSI programs. The MSM is accountable for driving results that support overall sales in the market, and is building and developing a professional sales organization in order to maximize sales, margin, close rates, and average ticket. In partnership with Store Management, the MSM also monitors performance and identify/select talent. In addition, the Market Sales Manager (MSM) works closely with their Regional Sales Director to ensure achievement of assigned business goals.
