- Subject matter expert on PeopleSoft Application
- Communicates the sourcing strategy and desired results to stakeholders and business partners to ensure commitment to execution - Negotiates with internal and external stakeholders to eliminate roadblocks on complex issues related to executing against the sourcing strategy - Drives consistency and standardization across sourcing engagements by leveraging best practices and tools to improve business outcomes - Leverages supplier partnerships to delivery business value and continuous improvement - Manages the contracting lifecycle process, including negotiating, execution, and post contract management - Understands the terms of the strategic contracts in order to effectively navigate and manage the relationships - Develops contract negotiation strategies including key terms and conditions, performance measures, incentives, penalties, governance and financial commitments that are relevant to the relationship - Engages and builds effective working relationships with strategic suppliers - Monitors performance of suppliers and applies appropriate tools and techniques to ensure expected contractual outcomes - Monitors industry best practices for strategic supplier management, sourcing, negotiation, vendor evaluation, contracting, etc. and incorporate at DCP Midstream, as appropriate, across the supply chain - Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
