She provides high level strategic leadership to develop, implement and manage commercial strategies to maximise the company’s sustainability, increase reputation and market share, and drive revenue growth globally. Vanessa leads the international sales, marketing and product teams to ensure these integral functions align to meet strategic commercial objectives. She executes global marketing and communication strategies for cost-effective user acquisition, conversion, engagement and renewal; develops and implements sales strategies across key market segments; drives product development; takes ownership of the customer interface with our product and services; and identifies key commercial opportunities to expand internationally. Since joining the simPRO team in early 2012, Vanessa has helped the company to maximise the effectiveness of existing marketing campaigns, developed new marketing campaigns, driven reductions in cost of sales, implemented automated systems, set strategy and structure to the sales team and driven the sales efforts to achieve the results required to meet our goals. Prior to joining simPRO, Vanessa was Director of Marketing with Guvera, an online music streaming company that makes music available to subscribers on demand. Here she set the branding and channel strategies to put the company in front of consumers across Australia and the United States. Prior to working with Guvera, Vanessa was Brand Strategy Director for a funds management group.
