Jul. 2016BRAND STRATEGY: Lead with big thinking and big questions, then research and discovery to understand and define a brand's overall experience. Build the ecosystem by developing identity, voice, user journey, and marketing strategy. Deliver usable tools and artifacts including brand books, visual identity style guides, voice and tone guidelines, and data-driven marketing campaigns. LEADERSHIP: Serve as both leader and mentor to in-house and freelance copywriters, designers, photographers, illustrators, and developers. Work closely with marketing and data teams to ensure creative vision aligns with client and company objectives. Manage project budgets, timelines, and recruitment. VISUAL IDENTITY: Design and develop logos and supporting creative assets to elevate and differentiate the brand. Pressure test the work to ensure it is successful at all relevant scales (literal and figurative) and contexts. DIGITAL DESIGN: Conceive and concept brand presence in UI/UX design, website design, iconography and graphic assets, video, digital ads, e-newsletters, and social media templates. Work collaboratively with in-house and contractor dev teams to bring artifacts to fruition. PRINT DESIGN: Extensive background in print production with vast knowledge of method and format from newspaper, to trade show displays, to food packaging, to special finishes and treatments and custom merch.
