Jun. 2017 - Jun. 2018Lilongwe, Malawi1. To ensure the effective capacity development of the Senior Finance Manager in place, to learn and build their ability to deliver the full Finance Director role.
2. Ensure the ongoing development of comprehensive set of organisation-wide procurement, operations, logistics and budget documents, (including accurately phased annual plans, longer term projections, cash-flow forecasts and programme specific budgets) which are developed collaboratively with the CD, TfaC UK Finance Director, members of the management team and programme staff.
3. Ensure the ongoing provision of accurate, timely and informative management reports (including reports related to individual donors) based on senior management, donor and programme manager requirements
4. Ensure the ongoing and effective line management of the Senior Finance Manager to ensure TfaC Malawi has and implements financial and accounting systems which support the effective implementation of programmes and which meet donor and international standards. Timely making of payments, requests for funds from donors, and reconciliations.
5. Ensure the ongoing developmet of realistic project proposal budgets, accurate donor financial reports, effective contract negotiation and good relations with donors ensures that TfaC is able to comply with multiple donor requirements.
6. Ensure TfaC Malawi financial procedures are compliant with TfaC Partnership requirements and contribute to organisational development
7. To lead the logistics, administration, procurement, operations of TfaC Malawi to ensure the organisation’s operations are organised to deliver high impact, are efficient, cost effective and compliant.
