Jun. 2012 - Jul. 2015Ukraine, Kyiv- Provide timely, personalized, friendly and efficient food and beverage service to our discerning guests - Serve, refresh, clear and re-set tables in a timely manner, while adhering to Fairmont Hotels and Resorts standards - Ensure that overall cleanliness and maintenance of our restaurant exceeds expectations - Maintain work section in an orderly and timely manner (clearing tables, refreshing beverages, removing food items) - Complete side duties in timely manner (side stations properly stocked) - Takes proper measures to ensure guests bills are presented and posted in a timely manner (whether by cash, credit card or room charge) and that group bills are properly coded and identified (in accordance to Fairmont Hotels & Resort Standards) - Assist colleagues in daily tasks as required - Review Banquet Event Orders. - Be in communication with the catering staff regarding any special needs. - Assist in ensuring that the events are on time. Make adjustments as needed and relay that information to the appropriate personnel. (i.e Banquet Captains/ Managers) - Ensure proper use of storage and maintenance of all meeting room equipment’s. - Maintaining the high standard of dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing buffets. - Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor. - Always providing a warm, sincere and engaging service that ensures that the guest feels valued - Anticipating Guest needs with thoughtful and personal touches, to personalize and customize service for each guest. - Resolving Guest problems and never saying no, without offering alternatives - Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas of the Conference Center
