As Support, my role was to provide coaching and advice for the Senior Team as they worked towards growing and developing the Lush Japan business. Lush Japan is one of the biggest teams in the Lush world and has a dynamic business of more than 150 shops, Japanese Manufacturing and a vibrant Digital Online business. Integral to my role were the following skills: Strategic Thinking and Planning, Sales and Marketing, Training and Development, Coaching, Vision and Goal setting, Culture building, Change Management, Engagement and Motivation, Brand building. During my time with Lush Japan I oversaw the following changes:
- Complete Restructure of the Retail side of the business
- Soft Skill Training for Senior and middle Management, most notably on Leadership, Collaboration, Engagement and Communication.
- Changes to full company Pay Roll system
- New Store Management Annual Development and Training Program
- Launched new engagement initiatives including an internal newsletter, the 3 Wishes program, changes to bonus systems, Right People Right Place, new recruitment processes. - Communication of change and plans for the future.
- New brand communication activities including innovating social media and facilitating idea generation for customer activities and brand awareness.
