The internship is part of the AP degree in Marketing Management at CphBusiness Academy to be completed in the summer of 2017. Main tasks include: Assisting with a new product launch to a new market. I joined the team shortly before the product was to be launched. My main responsibilities included researching potential customers contact information for our direct mailing campaign, assisting with the Communications strategy including online and offline channels, and assisting with the development of the information tool-kits to be distributed to internal stakeholders prior to the product launch. I also joined a team at the beginning phase of launching a new product to an existing market. In this task I was able to work with the background analysis of the internal and external environment. (Customers, Market, Competitors, and Product Offerings) I participated in workshops where we developed customer personas, customer buying journeys and product differentiators. This product became the focus of my thesis report that will be turned in at the end of May. In addition to the 2 main projects, I also added value by doing several ad hoc jobs within the department that included some investigation tasks, attending meetings with various stakeholders, and presenting market trends to the corporate communications and marketing department as well as the internal marketing network from all of Haldor Topsoe.
