• Won the Colton City Council’s City Talk Community Impact Award for organizing a local holiday toy drive and partnering with local fire and police departments to facilitate public safety training and education.
• Built an accountable, high-performance culture while fostering compliance, including OSHA, DOT, EPA, CDC, and COVID-19 requirements. Partnered with HR to plan enterprise development and succession, recruit top talent, and train personnel, including three subordinate managers and 25 hourly employees.
• Turned around underperforming facilities, achieving compliance with client service level agreements (SLAs). Conquered COVID-19 challenges, transforming an understaffed facility three weeks behind production schedules.
o Raised internal audit scores, restructured teams, and deployed a performance management system.
o Saved costs and $40K in annual losses. Negotiated favorable terms on third-party vendor and subcontractor contracts and built relationships with local representatives and law enforcement to stop facility thefts.
o Improved late pickup metrics, reducing 257 monthly late pickups to two by remediating tow-truck driver understaffing issues through recruiting efforts targeting local competitors’ drivers.
o Achieved 100% car pickup KPI scores. Enforced one-hour and 24-hour car pickup deadlines.
o Reconciled a two-week backlog in car cleanings/photographs/auction website postings.
o Revitalized the Kentucky facility's operations in 30 days, establishing regular audits and performance monitoring.
