Born in London UK and grew up mostly in Cyprus. Finished high school in the USA as an exchange student. Graduated from Birmingham University in 1980 in Mechanical Engineering & Economics Double Honours BSc and BCom. Worked as a project Engineer with Shell International for 5 years in the design and building of Luboil blending plants worldwide based in London. Worked in the family business in Cyprus operating duty free shops at sea ports as well as on board ships in the Mediterranean. Became a partner and Managing Director in M.D. Cyprus Soya LTD in Cyprus since 1992 until now trading in bulk animal feed raw materials (grains and proteins) for the Cyprus market. Retiring soon and looking for new challenges. I am an experienced manager with deep knowledge of running all aspects of business. Well versed in organisational, personnel, financial and marketing aspects. I have an analytical but practical approach to problem solving and tend to look at the big picture of issues, although I can also micro-manage where helpful. I can help in specific individual roles but also as a member of a team. Good at brainstorming and analysing options for best solutions.
