IFSSr. Principal Program Manager
Mar. 2020 - May. 2020Huntsville, Alabama, United StatesI will be managing all aspects of IFS work for two Navy multi-year programs that are part of the Naval Operational Business Logistics Enterprise (NOBLE), the Naval Aviation Maintenance System (NAMS) and the Navy Operational Maintenance Environment (NOME). A short description is as follow:
NOBLE is a group of programs that will provide direct support to readiness with maintenance, supply, and personnel administration capabilities that include situational awareness, planning, execution, personnel administration, and management of maintenance and supply logistics and business functions to ships/submarines, aviation, shore sites, and expeditionary units with a total user base of @150,000. NAMS will provide an enterprise-wide aviation maintenance support capability that services all levels of aviation maintenance for over 3,700 Navy and Marine Corps aircraft. NAMS will identify and assign aviation artisans and track all aviation maintenance to completion. Aircraft availability and mission-capable rates will increase by eliminating current inefficiencies resulting in a reduction in total ownership cost.
NAMS will replace the existing Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activities (OOMA), Optimized Intermediate Maintenance Activity (OIMA) and the NAVAIR Depot Maintenance System (NDMS)
NOME will provide standardized operational business processes for afloat maritime maintenance activities to all naval ships and provide end-to-end component tracking, reduce administration time by identifying and assigning artisans to repair shipboard equipment, support moving major repair work ashore, and enable exploitation of embedded sensors in weapon systems that will trigger repair action notification.
NOME will replace the existing Organizational Maintenance Management System - Next Generation (OMMS-NG) and several other related shipboard maintenance systems for Submarines, Surface Ships and Aircraft Carriers.
