• Serve as the liaison with parents, school administrators, volunteers, and community partners.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and well-supervised after-school program environment.
• Plan and develop creative learning spaces and interest centers.
• Prepare necessary materials and supplies for program execution.
• Collect and analyze program data for contract compliance and impact assessment.
• Author reports and proposals on program activities and services
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Gene Hoularis/Waldo Rodriguez Youth Center and other assigned facilities.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with community groups and local governmental agencies.
• Coordinate logistics for the use of the Center and other assigned facilities.
• Research, develop, and implement alternative funding avenues like grants, sponsorships, and donations.
• Address and resolve disputes or potentially illegal activities in coordination with the Police Department.
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for program promotion.
• Enforce City policies and monitor compliance with facility agreements.
• Supervise maintenance and repair of Center facilities, grounds, and equipment.
• Recruit, direct, and monitor the work of volunteer assistants.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, serving a diverse community.
