Nov. 2016 - Jul. 2019Long Beach, CASummary The Senior HRIS Analyst will work in concert with the IS Department to develop, implement and maintain customized
human resources information systems, related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record and process employee
information. Recommends, implements and plans for improvements, enhancements and new applications to the system,
such as Applicant Tracking, Performance Management, on boarding, merit, and competency applications. Provides
retrieval ability to produce employee information for analysis and decision making, statistical data and other employeerelated
reports, as required. Essential Job Functions Troubleshoot user technical problems and provide user training, if necessary, escalate technical issues with IS support
partners; research and identify root causes to problems Act as a liaison between the business, Vendor resources, and the HR Department to better utilization system resources to
achieve the organization’s human capital goals and objectives. Work with vendors to manage and resolve application
issues. Serve as a core member of the HR project teams to assist in planning, scope, timelines, work estimates and budget of
system-related projects. Partner with HR Leadership team to assess business requirements and technical options. Work with the vendors to translate business needs into technical solutions. Coordinate resources and environments to facilitate user acceptance criteria and support. Participate in the decision making process regarding business resource planning and training requirements. Perform configuration, set-up and testing support for new modules and business processes. Design and develop end-user training manuals and conduct end user training. Maintain system documentation for future
use. Provides support on HR application development and system conversion/migration projects. Process Uploads into
PeopleSoft Tables.
