Sep. 2014 - Dec. 2016Madrid y alrededores, EspañaTasks performed: a. Deployment and administration of a Cloud System consisting of 10 conventional computers with 48 cores and a total of 168GB of RAM, running on the CentOS (Linux) operating system.
b. Deployment and maintenance of the distributed computing and Big Data environment with Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Giraph.
c. Development and execution of massively parallel computing experiments based on distributed Big Data systems using Hadoop, Apache Spark, and Apache Giraph for various active research projects in the laboratory.
d. Research on Deep Learning methods for forecasting network traffic based on time series data.
e. Research on Machine Learning methods for classifying types of network traffic (collaboration on the European project called CogNet).
f. Deployment of a Digital Twin of network environments for automated and labelable network traffic generation, called Mouse World (collaboration on the European project called CogNet). I have collaborated on the following European research projects: Project Name: CogNet: Building an Intelligent System of Insights and Action for 5G Network Management. Funding Entity: European Commission under the H2020 5G PPP program. Agreement No: H2020-671625. Duration: 30 months. Total Amount: €5,972,820.
