• Working multiple high visibility and large-scale projects simultaneously
• Preparing audit data for multiple types of audits both large and small scale
• coordinating with applicable stakeholders across the command to track 1,700 users
• Coordinating with internal and external subject matter experts to ensure existing qualification standards reflect organizational functional requirements and meet industry standard
• Developing and reviewing recruiting, hiring, and retention procedures in accordance with current HR policies.
• Ensuring that cyber workforce management policies and processes comply with legal and organizational requirements regarding equal opportunity, diversity, and fair hiring/employment practices.
• Establishing and collecting metrics to monitor and validate cyber workforce readiness including analysis of cyber workforce data to assess the status of positions identified, filled, and filled with qualified personnel.
• Establishing cyber career paths to allow career progression, deliberate development, and growth within and between cyber career fields.
• Acquiring and managing the necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support information technology (IT) security goals and objectives and reduce overall organizational risk.
• Advising senior management (e.g., CIO) on cost/benefit analysis of information security programs, policies, processes, systems, and elements.
• Ensuring that security improvement actions are evaluated, validated, and implemented as required.
• Approving IT accounts for NAVAIR and NAWCAD employees for systems hosted in the Patuxent River Data Center
• Tracking vulnerability compliance
• Training new team members on NAWCAD policy and procedure
• Ensuring all team members are up to date and familiar with on applicable DoD/DoN/NAVAIR/NAWCAD issuances
