Managing daily operations of Card Sales, Merchant Acquiring, ATM network, Marketing, Finance, Card administration, Loan Administration, Risk management, Debt collection, Card behavior analysis, Customer retention, and Card personalization units. Managing team of more than 150 employees. Supervising bank’s payment cards credit risk and debt collections. Forecasting and budgeting, business and financial report analysis.
Development and implementation of operational procedures (card management operations, risk management analysis and monitoring, incentive schemes).
New product and customer loyalty schemes development, focusing on new card sales, customer activation, and retention programs. Reporting to the bank’s management, board, external regulators, and partners (e.g. Latvian Central bank, The Association of Commercial banks in Latvia, American Express, VISA Int., MasterCard, etc.);
Cooperation with internal and external auditors;
Management of card operations;
Optimization of people and financial resources. Achievements:
American Express Inc appreciation to Parex Bank’s team – one of the best card acquiring market penetration, one of the fastest card portfolio growth in the market, The best “Selects” program (2006).
Initiator and project manager of Welcome Real Time loyalty system implementation project (now XRewards provided by Citadele Bank).
Achieved the largest credit card portfolio in Baltics.
Successful license agreement negotiations with the largest card schemes - American Express and Mastercard. Decentralization of payment card operations, restructuring of business operations. Elected by representatives of Latvian commercial banks to lead the Payment card committee by the Latvian Commercial bank association.
