Work closely with internal audit department to track and maintain SOX compliance. Developed workflows and processes to assist in continuous improvement initiatives. Selected Highlights • Directed project to centralize and integrate an identity management system to ensure the entire IT infrastructure supporting business functions and user accounts was properly secured across operations. This resulted in a single account for each of the 18,000 users with one single password. This has resulted in helpdesk costs savings of $55K monthly. • Led the team to complete 98% of service calls on time or before service level agreement. • Managed a team to successfully link an identity vault system to HR, ERP, email, ID card, VPN, Active Directory and UNIX systems key to streamlining and automating security access for users. This resulted in efficient, precise and automated user on/off-boarding. • Saved $100,000 in licensing and maintenance costs by rolling out an audit system to identify and disable over 4,000 active, unused user accounts that minimized security risks while maximizing productivity. • Co-led a project team to implement a 420 branch / 8,500 PC hardware refresh to support a new IT infrastructure – achieving all project milestones and completion dates within eight months nationwide. • Reduced trouble tickets and data restore tasks by 80% by supporting the design of a Microsoft DFS infrastructure to redirect and preserve data within a SAN environment. • Oversaw a Novell Zen team to facilitate application distribution across headquarters and satellite locations.
