- Creating and publishing original documentation on various software for non-technical end users and developers; - Developing an entire Help Center, from the ground up, containing a user manual, How-To articles, general process, operations and details papers, ChangeLog, etc.;
- Writing and assembling API documentation with information on API resources and endpoints provided by developers. Software used - Stoplight;
- Working with Markdown editors;
- UI text strings reviewing and translation. Software used - Poedit. WEBSITE, MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA:
- Creating new, and modifying existing pages and content on the company website;
- Working with a CMS-based website;
- Researching for and creating images and graphics for the website that meet the specific topic;
- Writing, editing and publishing marketing related materials, such as - multiple blog articles on technical, software and IT-industry-related topics, as well as case studies;
- Posting Facebook and LinkedIn posts with promotion and marketing purposes;
- Research on various industry topics to create quality blog content;
- Creating scripts for promotional and marketing videos for the main software of the company. INTERNAL COMMUNICATION:
- Communication with the CEO on branding, website and blog goals;
- Communication with developers (front-end and backend) on software updates, occurring issues and bugs, as well as to acquire information on software features, APIs or API endpoints in need of documentation;
- Working with front-end developers to discuss and compile the best possible website layout for an upcoming page;
- Communication with Project Manager on ChangeLog updates. KEEPING CONTENT UP TO DATE:
- Keeping track of software changes with the purpose of regularly updating Help Center articles;
- Keeping track of software updates and new builds with the purpose of regularly updating the ChangeLog.
