• Assisted Head Athletic Trainer at home football games and in athletic training room duties (upkeep, stocking of supplies, ordering of supplies, and record keeping).
• Manual rehabilitation through proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and sport specific exercises for athlete’s return to play.
• Conducted patient history of illness or injury including subjective, objective, active, and passive range of motion, muscle testing, special tests, and neurological tests.
• Attended physician clinics where I took patient history and recorded the physician’s orthopedic evaluations. • Experienced in using modalities such as Ultrasound, ESTIM, TENS, HIVOLT, Interferential, Mechanical Traction, and Manual Traction of the lumbar and cervical spine.
• Administered specific manual stretching, therapy techniques including PNF, active release, and myofacial release. • Attended all practices and tournaments (home and away) in case of an emergency.
• Communicated with coaches, head athletic trainer, and team doctor.
• Knowledge of taping and Ace bandage techniques of the foot, ankle, knee, wrists, elbow, hip, shoulder, and thumb.
• Used appropriate kinesiotaping patterns for various injuries.
• Current ATC, NATA membership, CPR/First Aid certification.

o Built trust with athletes, coaches, and co-workers
o Lead research study focusing on core strength and its relation to dynamic balance
o Presented research at American College of Sports Medicine National Conference
