Oct. 2015 - Feb. 2016Dallas/Fort Worth AreaThe Google Expeditions Pioneer Program is an innovative program that brings virtual reality into the classroom, allowing students to experience virtual field trips anywhere in the world. • Visiting multiple schools a week (grades 2-12), I introduced Google Cardboard Virtual Reality technology and expeditions to students, teachers and staff. • Conducting three concurrent classes of 20-30 students each, I provided instruction and demonstration of the Expedition tablet software, as well as, hands-on guidance and interaction with both the students and teachers. • Carried out usability tests with teachers to gather insights into how the applications could be improved, and how they perceived the technology to be beneficial to their curriculum, as well as perceived students overall experience in learning with the program.
