Millikin UniversityDirector - Center for Entrepreneurship
Aug. 2013 - Mar. 2020Decatur, Illinois AreaThe Center for Entrepreneurship is part of the Tabor School of Business and supports the academic discipline of teaching entrepreneurship throughout Millikin University. We are a leading multi-disciplinary entrepreneurship institution. Our amazing faculty fellows teach entrepreneurship through tools, skills, and practice opportunities in art, biology, dance, English, exercise science, information systems, music, nursing, theatre, and more! We rock. We really do. I'm surrounded by some of the coolest entrepreneurial educators in academia. And, Millikin students are the prime beneficiaries of their creativity and passion. It's not always "pretty", but it is always interesting! The Center also works with youth entrepreneur programs through partnerships with Decatur and other area K-12 schools, various important community organizations like SCORE, Millikin Micro Business Network (MBN), and the Millikin Decatur Executive Association (MDEA). We enjoy partnerships with the EDC, Chamber, Children's Museum, and more. Our mission is to promote an ethic of entrepreneurship in the community. Want more info?
