American Trauma SocietyAssistant Program Coordinator
Oct. 2008 - Mar. 2015As Assistant Program Coordinator for the Trauma Center Wake Up! Youth Program, run by the American Trauma Society, I was responsible for candidate screening, interviewing, candidate selection, onboarding, contract review, advising management on policies and procedures, maintaining employee files, conducting evaluations, managing employees, maintaining time cards, creating schedules, and assisting with any work-related issues they may have. I taught alcohol and drug education classes to 30-50 participants every other week, monitor their progress, schedule them for classes, collect payments, and resolve conflicts that arise. Additionally, I was responsible for maintaining relationships with the level one trauma hospitals, which involved staying in contact with them, updating them on visits we are conducting, and ensuring our participants and facilitators are conducting themselves in an appropriate manner. Lastly, I updated all of our educational material, ensured all employees and participants are HIPPA compliant, managed the office, and assisted the program coordinator and director with anything they may need. • Created treatment plan for the City of Phoenix Request for Proposal within an extremely short, 2-week, time frame. • Created all training and onboarding material for the program
• Developed and implemented improved MS Access database to more efficiently track participant progress.
