Aug. 2019 - Feb. 2024London, England, United KingdomOver the last several years Brompton has collaborated with a wide range of compatible brands, some of these partnerships have extended over multiple iterations. My role was to develop and deliver the Special Edition bike strategy and manage the projects from Brief to Launch. Managing a cross-functional team and acting as liaison with the partner brand. Using collaborations to unlock new opportunities, introducing the product to new customers and helping Brompton develop its internal process capabilities. In addition to this I managed a team of packaging designers and technical writers, who delivered the product packaging and support material and manuals for all new and current products.

Brompton BicycleTechnical Specialist

Sep. 2015 - Aug. 2019BrentfordThis role required me to create project briefs and manage the delivery of products and product packaging to the agreed budget and schedule. Ensuring that products are in keeping with the design philosophy and strategy, balancing the demands of our production facility, manufacturing partners and customers. In addition to this I was responsible for producing product manuals for bicycles and components, working with external translators to deliver translated content into over 50 markets.

Aug. 2008 - Sep. 2015Brentford, England, United KingdomMy first position at Brompton was to establish and recruit the technical support and customer service team, developing our dealer training program, technical literature and online support, as well as designing and developing a range of bespoke tooling and documentation to allow dealers to carry out more complex servicing tasks. In addition to this I supported the Design and Quality Assurance teams to deliver continuous improvement projects.

Jan. 2007 - Aug. 2008I was responsible for managing and selecting the product range for the bricks and mortar store and the online business; oversaw the running of the web shop. Duties included: • Creating, and preparing for print, magazine advertisements • Analysing sales data and market trends to create range plans • Online and instore merchandising • Developed an advertising strategy to increase site traffic and revenue for the online shop • Co-ordinated the stock and sales data and supply chain, to ensure the online and physical stores ran smoothly • Implementation of a new EPOS system, as well as training staff and co-ordinating the data transfer to the new system • Managing and updating the website, this included photographing products, archiving, manipulating and publishing the images

Jan. 2006 - Jan. 2007Managing the workforce of over 40 staff and assisting with the refurbishment and expansion of the business premises. Duties included selection of new product lines to suit the broadened customer demographic and introducing products from new sectors due to the increase in store capacity. Organising the shops layout and merchandising, cashing up and banking, opening and closing the store and facilitating the product administration and stock control.
