Tremend Software ConsultingTechnical Team Leader, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect
May. 2020 - Jul. 2024Romania, BucharestHandling the Leroy Merlin Romania and Ukraine ERP and interconnections to a plethora of other external applications as TTL and Enterprise Architect. The project has been taken over by Tremend from the previous French team approximately one year ago, with almost no documentation and limited training – compared to the scale of the project.
During this time, the team has been able to understand the project, document everything and reach autonomy both on the development side and on the Leve 3 support side, with SLA. At this moment, the team is successfully doing support and development for the Leroy Merlin ERP Romania and Ukraine.
Since the system is more than 10 years old, and very few upgrades have been done during this time, there is a lot of technical debt that needs to be handled and a lot of work to be done for migrating to more recent technologies.
Additionally, I am also involved in the Presales Initiative for European Unition Projects team. This team is in charge of analyzing the documentation for the projects from the EU and giving the GO/NO GO decision for each of the projects. There are a number of 1 to 3 new projects per week and the GO/NO GO decision must be given in 5 days of receiving the documentation. My role is to give the GO/NO GO decision from the technical and architectural point of view.
In the Public sector for the European Commission, I have worked as lead architect on several consultancy projects. I succeed in driving and delivering them from the initial stage up to acceptance. This has been done through a series of discovery workshops, background research, analysis and documentation, followed by a delivery and acceptance stage. I have created multiple architecture vision documents sustained and supported by customer presentations.
