● RAPTr used native Windows clients for presentation and distributed calculations, Unix
backends using Oracle for persistence, Tuxedo for middleware, and a native distributed
caching system that allowed data mutation without requiring centralized locking.
● The ETI family was based on a distributed object environment that supported on-the-fly
extension of object classes and orchestration pipelines, allowing on-the-fly changes to
data types and functionality. ETI components were self-organizing meshes of federated
services, what would today be recognized as a data mesh architecture.
