May. 2011 - Aug. 2011Led three focus tours per week in the museum's temporary art gallery, which exhibited Erich Lichtblau-Leskly's collection of artwork he created during the Holocaust as a prisoner in the Thereisenstadt ghetto Worked closely and built relationships with Holocaust survivors who spoke regularly at the museum and electronically documented 14 of their personal stories, all of which included direct quotes and pictures Assisted the Director of Operations Jodi Shapiro in daily operations of the museum such as research, mail delivery, file organization, and preparations for museum events and special functions Assisted the Director of Education Ilaria Benzoni-Clark in preparing for educational programs for both visiting students and teachers Corresponded with Executive Director Mark Rothman in the design and start-up of the museum's "Framing the Past, Tracing the Future: Mapping Auschwitz" project, scheduled to begin in January, 2012 Managed the reception desk at applicable times, answering the museum phone, and assisting all museum visitors and Holocaust survivor speakers Maintain thorough knowledge of the Holocaust and its context historically in World War II
