Cerwin has been a consultant in Public Relations and Marketing for 25 years, serving various local, national and multi-national companies. He develops strategies with his clients’ trusted minds and hands, and ensures their implementation as well as production of appropriate tools and materials. With proven leadership and management skills, he has demonstrated in his field a high degree of creative and technical abilities in market development, policy and institutional development, and community development. Clients, and those he works with, can attest to his excellent capacity to support decision-makers in addressing strategy, policy, institutional, community and technical development needs; and to assist their organizations in planning and implementing programs to address these needs. With his extensive experience, he has been tapped as technical specialist, consultant and manager on information, education and communication (IEC) and on social development by the City of Cebu and organizations, including projects funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Prior to his current practice, he worked as a respected journalist for seven years in the local, national and international arena. Such stint and his background in Industrial Psychology gave him the nose for PR and mass communication. On the side, he is a noted multi-awarded leader and national trainer of Junior Chamber International with also multi-awarded JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel as his home chapter, a member of the Rotary Club of Metro Cebu, and has been involved with civil society organizations on various advocacy and social issues.
