The main objective concerning my professional career is achieving excellence in whatever skills and tools I might be using at a given time. Currently and in the foreseeable future, this is the LAMP platform (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) and the toolset that go with it, specifically Magento e-commerce solutions, AWS cloud services, CMS systems. When it comes to e-commerce, Magento has been a large part of my life ever since 2009. It's a powerfull platform offering a lot of features out of the box but it's true strenght is in its flexibility and ease with which it can be upgraded and extended. I've had a chance to work both on frontend and backend sides of this platform and to gain expertise in creating extensions, optimizing servers on which the platform runs, customizing views, integrating with different 3PL providers and payment gateways. Aside from development skiils, I was also interested in Docker, CI/CD, Linux system administration and DevOps as I feel a good developer needs to have a good knowledge of the complete system the software is running on, which problems may occur and troubleshooting them, how to do system backups and optimize for better performance and how to protect the system by using security best practises. Specialities: Docker, Adobe Commerce hosting setups and DevOps, MySQL optimization&troubleshooting, PHP, Magento development, server and client side development, system integration and migrations.
