Knowledge, skill development and achievements in this role include: 1) The development and implementation of an experiential life skills training workshop programme to support the holistic development of the under 23 Badminton squad with the tangible skills required to thrive in the elite sports environment, including; time management, communication and self-management 2) On an individual basis providing executive coaching to thirty GB and England World Class funded Badminton players to effectively manage and develop their personal life journey alongside their performance pathway 3) Work collaboratively alongside Performance Directors, National Coaches, sports science and sports medicine practitioners to ensure that support is directed towards meeting the sports specific performance goals 4) Supporting the transition of elite sports people in to successful and rewarding post athletics careers through the exploration of self-identity, values, skills, personality and interests through executive coaching 5) Aiding the practical element of career transitions through identifying transferable skills, developing career specific skills and experiences, understanding the world of work and effective self-presentation through CVs and interviews 6) Delivering workshops to athletes, staff and fellow practitioners on career development theories and practise and managing change effectively 7) Recruiting, developing and managing staff to ensure their objectives are performance focused and meet the needs of the sports they support

Knowledge, skill development and achievements include: 1) Leading, supporting and challenging an inter-disciplinary team of Sports Scientists and Sports Physicians to ensure that excellence, performance and athlete development is at the core of everyone’s work. 2) Managing two members of staff to enable their work programmes to meet the organisations objectives in a rewarding and supportive environment. 3) Gaining the trust and respect of elite athletes and coaches for them to embrace and benefits of developing career pathways and the impact it can have on their success in sport. 4) Mentoring and tutoring candidates on a UK Sport funded programme to fast track non-technical skill development of practitioners

Monitoring sports to safe guard investment and determine whether sports were accountable for the funding they received and effectively utilised the funding provided.

Liaised with Performance Directors, Coaches and staff within athletics, squash, boccia and canoeing to ensure that the World Class plans became a reality on the ground. Administered Athlete Personal Awards and communicated effectively with athletes about their funding.
