Report "Facts & Trend Analysis"
Biopolo s.c.r.l.Report "Facts & Trend Analysis"
Feb. 2005 - Jul. 2008MilanAs responsible for the publication of the "Facts & Trends Analysis" at Biopolo, I had the privilege of leading the development of an annual report on the Italian biotech industry's state. This report was a comprehensive analysis of the industry that included data, analysis, and interviews with key players from academia, industry, investors, and public authorities. Our team at Biopolo worked hard to produce this publication, which quickly became a key reference point for the industry. Endorsed by the Presidenza del Consiglio, Farmindustria, and Assobiotec, the "Facts & Trends Analysis" was sponsored by a number of Italian public institutions, including the Regione Lombardia, Regione Piemonte, Unione Province d'Italia, Provincia di Milano, Provincia di Torino, Provincia di Roma, Provincia di Siena, and Comune di Milano. The initiative was also supported by the Chamber of Commerce of Milan, Finpiemonte, and the Chamber of Commerce of Turin, in line with Farmindustria and Assobiotec. With 5000 copies distributed annually until 2008 at major events such as BIO International Conventions (including Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Diego, and San Francisco) and BioEurope partnering events, the "Facts & Trends Analysis" was an excellent tool to raise awareness around the Italian biotech industry's potential and create investment opportunities. The report featured an economic analysis of Italy's biotech industry, along with a series of interviews with key players. It also included information on the services and technologies available for licensing, product pipelines per development stage, and fields of application. At Biopolo, we were committed to supporting the growth of the biotech industry in Italy, and the "Facts & Trends Analysis" was just one of the many initiatives we launched to help achieve that goal. We are proud of the impact this publication had on the industry and continue to be excited about the future of biotech in Italy.
