As founding member of new Service Management team in IT-Operations, defined, evangelized, normalized project planning, productivity dashboards, and roadmaps. Negotiated for internal competing resources, timelines, and budgets with C-Level and peers. Gained full funding for Network re-architecture.
• Developed an understanding of the complexities and interconnections of the organically grown IT infrastructure, including the Oracle ERP system, Datawarehouse, website platform, datacenter, networking, distribution center.
• Moved from product focused operations to service lifecycle management. Described the service landscape via service maps and service catalogs. Created project workflows, decision templates, and metrics.
• Established greater transparency of IT Operations for all levels of the company.
• Coached the Operations teams to establish and maintain sprint workflow while managing inbound project-based work, struck a balance between daily and project tasks, ensuring sufficient resources, and team capacity.
• Sourced and managed external technical consultants and service providers to resolve resource and skillset deficiencies.
