I was responsible for overseeing and managing threat identification and mitigation, strategic planning and analysis, risk analysis and response, contingency planning, event execution, intelligence management, team and relationship building, complex problem solving, and training & skill development. I served as a liaison to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies on behalf of the client. In addition, I oversaw budgets prioritizing needs and exhibiting fiscal responsibility. I delivered concierge security that provided a higher level of service and support while not jeopardizing the security function.
*Took ownership of the existing security program and took proactive steps to improve it. Evaluated and assessed the overall security program and provided written and oral recommendations.
*Organized, planned, and executed training for the security team and staff in the areas of firearms, medical, executive protection, advance work, fire, natural disasters, evacuation plans, etc. *Initiated a protective intelligence collection program and analysis of findings.
*Built effective relationships and collaborated with the security team, house staff, local police and fire departments, and vendors.
*Conducted research, cost analysis, and acquisition of new equipment for the security team. *Refined existing policies and created new ones in the areas of grooming and attire, employee conduct, work responsibilities, and overall security improvements.
*Participated in the recruitment and hiring process of new candidates for Eagle and the client.
*Researched and collaborated with vendors for vehicle tracking, bollards, gate maintenance, security system monitoring 24/7, camera and security system maintenance, etc.
*On call 24/7/365 to respond to issues that arose.
