Essentially, there were lockers placed in strategic locations with sports equipment. Using the app, you could rent the equipment directly. Equip's main objective was to launch the MVP of the project to start selling. Challenge: Working in a startup environment was the biggest challenge. We had tight deadlines and a lot to accomplish. The sooner we launched a stable version of the MVP, the better. I worked with almost all of Equip's tools, from the website to the app. After one year of development, we managed to achieve and launch the MVP. I joined the team to accelerate the development of a new version of the internal system, using current technologies, a new design, and a much more scalable architecture than the old one. Challenge: The tasks were straightforward, and there wasn't a complex architectural environment. They really needed development manpower, which is what I provided. What was once a backlog of tasks became an empty board after I joined. We completed the entire internal software and the tasks prioritized by the manager. Apr. 2019 - Apr. 2021São Paulo, BrazilCompany: CWI Software ( Outsourcing ) Customer: Banco BV Goal: At that time, the primary objective of Banco BV was to launch its digital banking app and subsequently open an IPO. When it comes to launching a digital bank, security is a major challenge, requiring heightened measures. I worked in the fraud prevention squad, where we developed features and technologies for biometrics, machine learning, and various methods to identify fraud and security breaches. We delivered substantial cost savings for the bank. I was a contractor from CWI, so I reported to both the CWI project manager and the Banco BV manager. Challenge: The biggest challenge was understanding the bank's product, as it is much more bureaucratic and complex compared to other companies. It tested my mental fortitude because, as my squad was responsible for security and fraud prevention tasks, the pressure was significantly higher. The bank was losing millions of reais every day due to a feature that had not yet been completed. However, together with my team, we completed the entire project scope, deployed it, and delivered immense value to Banco BV. In my opinion, our results were outstanding. I've never seen a security structure as robust as the one we built in any of my subsequent opportunities. Great job, team!
