Oct. 2019 - Sep. 2021Charlotte, NCAs a Core Systems Engineer serving multiple business units at Lowe's Companies and Duke Energy, I held a trusted advisor role, engaging in C-level discussions on Digital Transformation at Lowe's and architecting core and store datacenter VxRail storage solutions. My mentorship extended to associate SEs, with a significant focus on hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) through VMWare. I spearheaded the transition from legacy 3-tier infrastructure to VxRail hyperconverged solutions in both Lowe's stores and data centers, resulting in several benefits, including a 10X capacity increase for running new applications, improved operational performance and point of sale capabilities, and the ability to deliver a seamless omnichannel experience. My contributions earned me recognition, such as being named Co-SE of the year in 2020, Innovator of the year by Lowe's Tech in the same year, and Moneyball top Dell Technologies District SE in FY20'Q1, among other accolades.
