• HR Generalist Duties: Recruited, screened, interviewed and presented candidates to hiring
team and assisted in hiring decision. Responsible for all employee onboarding, background
checks and orientations. Processed and maintained payroll records in accordance with
policies and procedures. Informed Board of issues related to employee relations as well as
responded appropriately to the concerns of employees and enrolled families. Created and
maintained all student and personnel files.
• Licensing and Administration: Created and maintained filing systems. First point of contact
for all phone calls, emails, and all school inquiries. Attended twice monthly board meetings.
Created and distributed official school correspondence and updated social media accounts
and website. Maintained confidentiality of employee and student information. Ensured
compliance with childcare licensing laws, local agencies and inspections.
• Enrollment: Created marketing pieces to attract new families, attended trade shows and
school fairs, scheduled and hosted school visitor mornings, led school tours, scheduled
student interviews, followed through on entire admission process for families. Handled new
student orientations, maintained student files and oversaw any problems students and
teachers encountered.
Key Accomplishments:
• Oversaw and managed the growth of the school from one Kindergarten class with one
teacher and three students to a vibrant 90-student elementary with Pre-K, Several
Kindergartens, Grades One through Four and all the additional staff and families to go along
with the growth.
