Apr. 2018 - Apr. 2021Beaverton OregonAs a Team Leader and Process Manager, leadership is by example while having an open ear & mind. This allows each team member to work within their strengths while guiding them to acknowledge their “OFIs” - Opportunities for Improvement. My work ensures benchmarks in sales, retention, and loss ratios are exceeded & maintained; this agency was built from the ground to $2M in 21 months. Responsibilities include P & L, balance sheets, AR, AP, & bank reconciliations. Appropriate high-level communication with team members is key (450 within CARR Auto Group). This includes reporting to 2 senior leaders & 3 owners on daily operations, productivity, & employee / customer-related issues. I interact with GMs & Assistant GMs at each dealer location. I maintain positive relationships, communicate, & train all auto dealer sales staff to our functions & proper processes within each dealership. With HR as my partner, we ensure hiring practices, payroll, timely employee reviews, & terminations are handled appropriately; responsibilities include staff training, licensing, & compliance. Also involved is to Facilitate, Lead, & Organize a think tank of dealerships' owners & agency managers from around the country; here, the focus is to identify & share best practices in process improvement & dealership / carrier relationships. This includes organizing & planning meetings 2x a year, gathering talk points, assigning them to appropriate members, preparing presentation material, & identifying speakers & info. My work allows me to successfully create, build, and maintain carrier relationships. Additional Key Points:
•Documented & adapted verification process for each dealer location
•Trained staff in a proven sales
•Follow up process to increase documentation of activity & sales
•Implementation of quote letter, welcome letter, & customer service letter •This increases documentation, decreases issues after sale, & identifies to the customer with whom they should communicate
