I handled the firm's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable by preparing the client invoices, tracking payments, and interacting with the clients when they had any concerns or questions regarding their invoices. I ordered products for the firm, answered the telephones, handled the firm's payroll, assisted in editing various legal documents, took care of filings at the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and at the Federal Building, and handled any minor disputes or issues with the firm's attorneys and other support staff. At the end of the year I assisted our accountant with the firm's corporate tax return, 1099s, and other various end of the year tax documents. When I moved to San Diego, I continued to work for this firm remotely taking care of the billing (AR/AP), managing the firm's Quickbooks, handling client interactions, and working as a personal assistant for the firm's president.
