Jul. 2015 - Apr. 2016Greater Philadelphia AreaThis position is composed of 4 different main duties during the course of the work day: Terminal Control - receiving and dispatching fire and medical emergencies, aircraft emergencies, overseeing Grinnell Panel System and recording the various and sometimes unexpected emergencies in the perimeter of the Philadelphia International Airport. ACD (Airport Calls Distribution)- answering phone calls to the airport providing the highest level of customer service for flight information, baggage, lost and found, TSA (Transportation Security Administration), badging, paging, ground transportation/parking and other various inquiries. Operator- which is the backup position to Terminal Control in case of multiple emergencies in the airport, while also maintaining the log for Media Calls, Lost and Found including and not limited to receiving phone calls and matching lost items to their appropriate owners and receiving lost items from airport employees, maintaining and recording job control reports for custodial, electrical and HVAC issues in the airport as well as passenger complaints. Receptionist- providing outstanding customer service to airport employees and non at the front window, while also receiving phone calls regarding the airport, flights, paging, badging, TSA, baggage, lost and found, ground transportation, job control and media calls.
As a trilingual operator, any inquiries to the airport from non-english speaking parties for the languages of Italian, Spanish and Portuguese are forwarded to me.
