Oct. 2021 - Oct. 2023Utica, New York, United StatesMajor Responsibilities: Commander of a Civil Affairs Company consisting of five CA Teams and a Civil Military Operations Cell with a strength of approximately 32 Soldiers and authorized Civilian staff. Provide supported Commands with highly trained, competent and lethal Civil Affairs tactical and operational level formations with a geographical focus and expertise on Southern Europe. Develop a Company that establishes and maintains high quality standards in readiness, administrative, medical, morale, discipline, physical fitness and logistics management so that a lethal and skilled unit can operate in Volatile, Uncertain, Volatile Complex, and Uncertain (VUCA) environments. On order, mobilize, deploy, and provide full spectrum stability and Civil Affairs operations in support of a full Range of Military Operations (ROMO). Recruit, train, and retain high quality Officers, NCOs, and Soldiers while developing them professionally. Responsible for the accountability of over $8 million in equipment and supplies. Key Accomplishments: Prepared, mobilized, and redeployed the company to a Combat Training Center Exercise. Built a relationship with West Point Center for Civil-Military Studies and US Army DEVCOM to test and provide feedback for a new systems using AI to detect changes in Culturally Significant Sites and Critical Civil Infrastructure. Maintained the Company's position as the highest rated company in Personnel and Medical Readiness metrics in the Battalion.
