Apr. 2016 - Apr. 2016Léman Manhattan Preparatory SchoolThis day-long conference let teachers attend workshops taught by other teachers, all about using technology in the classroom. The conference is designed to let teachers, who use technology well, share their expertise, advice, innovations and tools with the greater teaching community.
In my session, attendees learnt how to move lectures out of the classroom into a supported digital space to make room for interactions.
My colleague Melodie Ting and I spoke about how to integrate questions, discussion, added content, and assessments in videos, and how that data translates to a more personalized experience in class. We also introduced other apps and platforms we use in class to assess student progression.
