Developed supply and distribution agreements for new sales. Responsible for establishing a joint venture company in Germany for service & maintenance of industrial electronic products. Developing service agreements with multi-national companies involved in total asset management on end-user sites.
Purchasing role - designed & implemented a stock control system, which ensured the optimum levels of stock via JIT stock system, introduced procedures to ensure easy retrieval of vital information relating to specific products, components & generic product groups, implemented a preferred supplier system whilst maintaining the flexibility to utilise other approved suppliers when business needs dictated.
