During my leadership with Talent 100, I took a bootstrapped startup education company run by university students to become a market leading brand and business with more than double-digit growth and complete experiential and digital transformation. Disrupting the traditional tutoring business model, I introduced a new concept in tutoring delivering a blended experiential and online learning offer with a first to market 'third space’ for secondary school students to master their studies. I developed the strategy to bring the brand to life experientially within new state-of-the-art learning centres creating a home away from home for students to study, and built a new aspirational thought leadership platform creating 'Mentors' as opposed to teachers and tutors resulting in building a vibrant, connected learning community. As CEO I developed a solid growth strategy including a total business technology transformation project launching a new first to market ed-tech platform creating a single source of truth to manage all data and enrolment information. This transformation included the deployment of a custom built Salesforce CRM, new student information system, new finance gateway, e-learning management system and more reducing a 6-8 week sales funnel and enrolment process down to 4 simple steps and a 5-minute online enrolment payment process. This new e-commerce platform for tutoring created real-time visibility, demand planning capabilities and analytics previously unavailable to manage the company efficiently. Leading several first to market innovative digital transformation and change management projects directly impacting the bottom line, these projects delivered 52% + self-serve adoption rates within three months of launching.
