Sep. 2018 - Jun. 2019Greater Los Angeles Area• Facilitated 15+ conflict management trainings & small group, sustained dialogues between 65+ students, faculty, and staff on issues of social identity, cross-cultural communication, navigating disagreements, and more.
• Developed comprehensive, skills-building agendas for dialogues & workshops, utilizing 36+ hours of intensive training. • Optimized marketing strategy for 5+ events each term by cultivating a growing network of UCLA students, staff, organizations, programs, and departments. * Experiences of Liminality: A Dialogue on Life Transitions About the Program: UCLA’s Intergroup Dialogue Program offers an academic year-long peer diversity education & leadership paid internship program for UCLA undergraduate and graduate students. IGD Diversity Peer Leaders (DPLs) receive intensive training in intergroup dialogue facilitation, leadership skills, and conflict resolution. The skills and knowledge gained are then applied (a) in the facilitation of workshops and dialogues focused on issues of diversity for UCLA community members, and (b) in the planning and implementation of social media and art initiatives or other events that creatively address diversity and social justice issues at UCLA.
